Try coworking, connect with our community, and make yourself at home in this safe space. To celebrate our 6 month anniversary we’re opening up our facilities for the day including sunny workspace overlooking Christie Pits Park, shared kitchen & lounge, movement studio, mind-body healing room and private meeting rooms.
Shecosystem is all about honouring the feminine and supporting women entrepreneurs, but we are a gender inclusive space. Anyone who values the feminine in the working world is welcome.
10AM Opening Circle
Bring Mindful intention to your workday, introduce yourself in a way that goes beyond networking, and connect with our community at a Opening Circle led by Shecosystem’s founder, Emily Rose Antflick. We do these EVERY DAY and they are free for members!
10:30AM-4PM Giving Ourselves Wings! #YESIMAY Collaborative Art Project
Shecosystem’s commitment to providing a workspace and culture that empowers and inspires women to be their best will be given its visible wings. The #YESIMAY! project is about you giving yourself permission to shine, to say no, to play big, to soar. Christine Pensa of Art That Moves (artthatmoves.ca) will be onsite facilitating the creation of our own Shecosystem wings. No art experience or special equipment necessary. We’ll provide all the materials and paint smocks you need.
12-1PM Community Salad Bar – bring an ingredient to share!
There’s nothing we love more than sharing food and conversation. If you wish to join for lunch, please bring a salad item to share – or run across the street to one of our neighbours and grab something for the salad bar.
4-5PM Planting Seeds: A ritual to start your garden
Gardening can be a therapeutic and restorative practice to connect us more deeply to the wisdom of nature, the depth of our being and community. In this workshop, Kat of Lady Gaia (www.ladygaia.ca) will weave together guided meditation and gentle movement with a mindful seed planting ritual, inviting participants to tune-in to the earth of the body and the body of the earth as we plant new seeds for growth. She’ll offer key information so you can start your own in-ground or container garden. Organic potting soil, seedling containers and a variety of non-gmo seeds will be provided.
What is Shecosystem?
Shecosystem’s open, flexible coworking space is a home base for women-identified people and allies who work independently but want to connect with an engaging community that values holistic wellbeing. Whether you want to drop in once a month or every day, we’ve got a membership plan to suit your needs and a workspace to suit your mood. With 1650 square feet of workspace and multi-purpose rooms, Shecosystem is big enough to offer a variety of spaces for different vibes, and intimate enough to get to know the people sitting next to you. Get your work done at a desk in our light-filled coworking space, have a coffee and a conversation in our comfortable lounge, take a mindful pause in the Studio, or book a private room for your next meeting or event.
Is this for women only?
