Join your fellow sisters in a non-judgemental, friendly lunch and learn, led by Francine Dick, a certified financial planner. We’ll discuss our attitudes surrounding money, gain confidence in our ability to manage it and learn practical tips. Lunch will be provided.
Just before her 40th birthday, Francine became a single mother of 3 young children. This experience taught her the importance of preparing for life’s unexpected events and making sure your financial house is in order.
Francine is a ceaseless volunteer and was awarded the Canada 125 medal and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal for her community service. As the winner of Alterna Savings and Credit Union’s first Community Social Responsibility Idol award, she had the opportunity of traveling to the Philippines with the Canadian Co-operative Association and observe firsthand the benefits of people working together for their mutual benefit. This is her outlook on life and in work.
