This Week:

The Rhythms of the Menstrual Cycle: A Naturopathic Perspective

Understanding the rhythms of the menstrual cycle – including the physical, emotional and energetic. Learn about the changes of a menstrual cycle and how to support yourself with each phase. We will make connections to other systems of the body like the nervous and digestive system, and discuss common related concerns to the menstrual cycle such as pain, poly-cystic ovarian syndrome, inconsistent and/or heavy bleeding and fertility.

This event is for women, trans and non-binary folks.

Dr. Tania Tabar, BA ND completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science and Journalism at Concordia University, and subsequently worked as a writer, editor and youth facilitator. She practiced Naturopathic Medicine in Sheffield, UK for one year and then returned to Toronto to continue building her practice. Over the years she has developed a special interest in hormonal health, mental health and autoimmune conditions. She is passionate about connecting medicine and health to the broader social, cultural and political context of each patient’s life. Dr. Tabar is a cofounder of Aurum Medicine and Wellness Clinic and practices in downtown Toronto.
